We love Choosing time!

There are lots of reasons that we love Fridays but in Rimu it's Choosing time. Today Rimu say Goodbye to Ginnethon who is off to Australia with his family. As a farewell, Ginnethon has given the children in Rimu a box of his toys. Thank you Ginnethon! Ginnethon's box is going to be well utilized!
We wish Ginnethon, Matthew and their family all the best in Australia.

Pirates at St Patrick's

Five children in Rata had the joy of teaching today. After they had read and interpreted instructions about how to make a pirate hat, they had to teach their class mates. Here are some of their comments:
" I didn't know it was going to be fun teaching but it was."
" Some people were cutting and not listening to me."
" I liked telling people to do it and they listened to me."
